Getting Started

How do I create my first inspection?

Log in to Agile Inspections and click New Inspection from the dashboard. Choose an inspection template (or start from scratch), fill in the property address and client details, then tap any section to begin adding findings. See our full guide to creating inspections.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Agile Inspections is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The mobile app is the primary way to conduct inspections in the field — it includes photo capture, offline mode, and voice-to-text for findings.

Can I use Agile Inspections offline?

Yes. As of v2.1, the mobile app supports full offline mode. Start an inspection without a connection and your data will sync automatically the next time you're online. Note: report generation and PDF export require an internet connection.

How do I import my existing findings library?

You can import standard findings from a CSV file. Go to Settings → Standard Findings → Import and upload your spreadsheet. See Importing Findings from Other Programs for the required CSV format.

Reports

What report formats can I export?

Agile Inspections supports export to PDF and Microsoft Word (.docx). PDF is recommended for sharing with clients. Word format is useful if you need to make manual edits before delivery. See How to Create a Word Document from Your Inspection.

Can I add my company logo to reports?

Yes. Upload your logo at Settings → Report Settings → Logo. Your logo will appear in the header of every report. For best results, use a PNG file with a transparent background at least 300×100px. See How to Add Your Logo to Your Report Template.

How do I share a report with my client?

There are three ways: (1) Email the PDF directly from the app, (2) share a Client Portal link for a web-viewable version, or (3) Download the PDF or Word file and send it yourself. The Client Portal (v2.1+) lets clients view, comment on, and download their report.

How do I edit my report template?

Go to Settings → Report Templates to manage your templates. You can edit section order, choose fonts and colors, adjust margins, and upload your logo. See How to Edit Your Report Template for a step-by-step walkthrough.

Account & Billing

How do I change my subscription plan?

Go to Settings → Billing to view your current plan and upgrade or downgrade. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you have questions about plans, contact our team.

Can I add additional inspectors to my account?

Yes — multi-inspector support was introduced in v2.0. Go to Settings → Team to invite team members. Each inspector gets their own login and can conduct inspections independently. Inspections appear in a shared dashboard for the account owner.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Inspection data and photos are stored on AWS infrastructure in the US. We perform daily backups and maintain a 99.9% uptime SLA. You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Export Data.

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your account stays active until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, you can still export your data for 30 days before the account is permanently deleted.

Photos & Findings

How many photos can I add to an inspection?

There is no hard limit on photos per inspection. Storage allowances depend on your plan — Starter plans include 5 GB of storage, Professional plans include 50 GB, and Enterprise plans have unlimited storage. Photos are compressed automatically for faster upload without losing visible quality.

Can I add photos from my camera roll?

Yes. As of v2.1, you can import photos from your device's camera roll, iCloud, or Google Photos directly from the inspection. Go to a finding or section, tap Add Photo, then choose Import from Library. See How to Add Photos to Your Inspection.

What are standard findings?

Standard findings are reusable text templates for common issues you write up repeatedly — for example, "Evidence of moisture at base of water heater" or "GFCI protection required in bathroom." Build your library once and add findings to any inspection in seconds. See Standard Findings for more.
