Overview
This is the biggest release we've ever shipped. If you haven't used Agile Inspections in a while, it will look and feel like a different product. If you use it every day, you'll notice the difference immediately.
The entire app has been rebuilt on a modern foundation — new design, dark mode, a faster and more responsive interface on every screen. Alongside that, we've shipped a full set of new capabilities: inspection collaboration, a completely redesigned findings library, beauty shots in reports, a usage dashboard, and significantly more reliable report generation.
Equally important is work you won't see directly. The way conditions save has been rethought to be more reliable, especially on slower connections. Photo handling is faster and smarter. The login and sign-up experience has been redesigned. A lot of the scaffolding that keeps the app running day to day has been replaced with something more solid.
And underpinning all of it: we now have real-time visibility into how the app is behaving. When something goes wrong — even something you never notice — we see it immediately and can act on it. That changes how fast problems get fixed.
Some of what changed you'll see the moment you log in. Some of it you'll feel over time — reports that just work, saves that don't drop, an app that holds up under real conditions. And some of it you'll never see at all, because we'll catch and fix it before it reaches you.
What's New
New Design & Dark Mode
The entire app has a new look. Every screen has been redesigned from the ground up — cleaner layouts, better use of space, more consistent controls throughout. The inspection view, dashboard, settings, account screens, and login flow have all been rebuilt visually.
Dark mode is now fully supported. The app automatically matches your system preference, so if you work in dark mode on your phone or laptop, Agile Inspections follows suit without any configuration.
Multi Image Upload
You can now upload multiple images at once when adding photos to findings or reports. This streamlines the process of documenting inspections, saving you time and making it easier to provide thorough visual evidence. Simply select multiple images from your device, and they will all be uploaded together.
Inspection Collaboration
You can now invite other Agile Inspections users to contribute to your inspections. Once they accept, a collaborator can add findings, edit findings, and add photos — all within your inspection, in real time.
Inviting someone takes seconds: open the collaborators panel, enter their email or pick from a quick-add list of people you've worked with before. They'll see the invitation on their dashboard and can accept or decline. If they accept, the inspection appears in their list immediately.
Owners stay in control throughout. Collaborators can contribute content but cannot change inspection settings, save findings to your standard library, generate reports, or delete the inspection. You can revoke access at any time.

Smarter Findings Library
The standard findings library has been redesigned. You now browse your library first, pick a finding, then edit it before saving — keeping the workflow fast and intentional. Search is more responsive, selection is more predictable, and findings appear in a consistent order. For inspectors who rely heavily on standard findings, this makes building an inspection noticeably faster.
Beauty Shots in Reports
There is now a new image uploader at the top of the inspection form where you can add a beauty shot for the property. Any image uploaded here will automatically appear in your report wherever you add the template placeholder InspectionBeautyShot. This makes it easy to feature the best photo of the property in your exported Word reports, with no manual editing required after export.
Usage & Plan Dashboard
A new dedicated screen shows your current plan, usage metrics, and billing status at a glance. You can export your account data as a CSV at any time from the same view.
Help Center
Agile Inspections now has a dedicated help center at help.agileinspections.com. Articles cover the full inspection workflow — creating inspections, adding findings, managing rooms, working with reports, and more. Search is built in, and every article links to related topics so you can find what you need quickly.
Consistent Email Notifications
Every transactional email — account creation, report delivery, billing confirmations — has been rebuilt with a shared template system. Emails now have a consistent look, clearer subject lines, and more actionable content.
Improvements
Report Generation
Report generation is significantly more reliable. Reports that previously failed silently now surface a clear message explaining what went wrong. Reports that get stuck no longer sit indefinitely — they're automatically detected and resolved. The app stays responsive while a report is being built, and generating a report behaves predictably even when you're on a slow connection.
For most users, the experience simply feels more solid. Reports either complete successfully or tell you why they didn't.
Under the hood: Report generation now runs through a durable job queue with real-time status tracking, structured error capture, automatic timeout recovery, and duplicate-request handling.
Platform Observability
We now have real-time visibility into how the app is behaving across every part of the system. When something goes wrong, we can see exactly what happened — and when — without needing you to describe the steps or hoping we can reproduce it on our end.
This isn't something you'll interact with directly. But it means problems get diagnosed and fixed faster, issues that affect multiple users get caught earlier, and when you do contact support, we can look at what actually happened rather than guessing.
Photo Handling
Photo uploads are faster and more reliable. Duplicate photos are now detected automatically, and large photos are handled more efficiently throughout the upload and display process.
Condition Saves
The way inspection conditions save has been improved. Updates now go out in smarter, more efficient bursts rather than all at once, which makes saving more reliable when you're working quickly or on a slower connection.
Report & Image Settings
The settings screens for report configuration and image handling have been redesigned — controls are grouped more logically, labels are clearer, and the overall layout is much less cluttered.
Inspection Editing Flow
The finding editor is faster and more reliable, with a cleaner flow for creating rooms directly while adding a finding. The rooms interface has an improved save flow with better visual feedback. Saves are more resilient on slow or interrupted connections.
Account & Payment UX
Account and payment screens have been updated with a cleaner layout and better messaging throughout. Edge cases that previously showed confusing or empty states now surface clear, actionable feedback.
Login & Sign-Up
The login, registration, and landing screens have been redesigned with a cleaner layout and improved flow.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed intermittent save failures when editing inspection conditions under slow or interrupted connections.
- Fixed an issue where standard findings could reset unexpectedly during an active editing session.
- Fixed text color and contrast issues in the findings library that made some items difficult to read.
- Fixed search and selection behavior in the standard findings library.
- Fixed room saves to ensure changes persist reliably.
