How to Add Your Logo to Your Report Template

Adding your company logo to inspection reports enhances professionalism and brand recognition.

Step 1: Prepare Your Logo

Before uploading, ensure:

  • Logo is in a common format (PNG, JPG, GIF)
  • File size is reasonable (typically under 5 MB)
  • Logo is high quality (at least 300 DPI for print)
  • Logo background is transparent or professional

Step 2: Access Report Template Settings

Navigate to:

  • Account Settings → Report Templates
  • Or Settings → Branding

Step 3: Select Your Template

Choose which template to add the logo to. You can upload different logos to different templates if needed.

Step 4: Upload Your Logo

Click "Upload Logo" or "Add Company Image":

  • Browse your computer for the logo file
  • Select your logo
  • Click "Upload"

Step 5: Position Your Logo

After upload, configure:

  • Position: Where on the page (header, footer, top-left, top-right)
  • Size: Adjust width and height dimensions
  • Alignment: Left, center, or right alignment
  • Page Placement: First page only or all pages

Step 6: Preview and Save

Preview your template with the logo to ensure it looks correct, then save your changes.

Step 7: Generate Reports

Create new inspection documents. Your logo will now appear on all generated reports.

Tips

  • Use a transparent PNG for the cleanest look
  • Keep your logo size moderate to leave room for content
  • Test-generate a report to verify placement before sending to clients
  • You can add logos to both header and footer for maximum visibility

Troubleshooting

Logo doesn't appear in generated documents:

  • Verify the logo was successfully uploaded
  • Check that the position is not set to "outside printable area"
  • Regenerate the document after saving

Logo looks pixelated:

  • Use a higher resolution version of your logo
  • Reduce the size if it was enlarged significantly
