How to Create a Word Document from Your Inspection

Agile Inspections makes it easy to generate professional Word documents directly from your inspection data.

Step 1: Complete Your Inspection

Ensure your inspection is complete with:

  • Property and client information
  • All findings and observations
  • Photos (if applicable)
  • Any additional notes or recommendations

Step 2: Access the Report Generator

From your inspection view, look for the "Generate Report" or "Create Document" button.

Step 3: Select Template

Choose the report template you'd like to use:

  • Default template
  • Your customized template
  • Other available templates

You can preview the template before generating.

Step 4: Customize Report Options

Select which information to include in your document:

  • Property details
  • Inspection findings
  • Photos
  • Recommendations
  • Your company information
  • Signatures

Step 5: Generate the Document

Click "Generate" or "Create Document" to create the Word file.

Step 6: Download or Share

Once generated, you can:

  • Download the Word document to your computer
  • Open it in Microsoft Word for final edits
  • Send directly to your client
  • Save to cloud storage

Tips

  • Customize your template in advance to maintain consistency
  • Add your company logo and details to templates
  • Review the document before sharing with clients
  • Make final edits in Microsoft Word if needed
