Collaborators have access to the inspection's findings and photos but cannot change the inspection's settings or standard findings library. This keeps the owner in control of the inspection's configuration.
What Collaborators Can Do
- View all findings, rooms, and photos in the inspection
- Add new findings under any trade or subsection
- Edit existing findings
- Add photos to findings
- Leave the inspection
What Only the Owner Can Do
- Invite or remove collaborators
- Edit the inspection's property details and client information
- Save a finding to the standard findings library
- Generate and download reports
- Delete the inspection
Notes on Findings
When a collaborator adds or edits a finding, it is saved under the owner's inspection. Findings contributed by collaborators appear the same as owner-created findings in reports and the inspection view — there is no distinction in the output.
Photos added by collaborators are stored under the owner's account and will appear in reports normally.
